Job Summary:

The Linen Cart Ambassador is responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery and restocking of linen carts throughout the hospital. This includes unpacking, stocking, covering, and delivering linen carts to designated areas. The successful candidate will also be responsible for restocking dispensing machines, folding and stocking scrubs, and organizing shelving storage areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Unpack and stock linen carts with clean linens
  • Deliver linen carts to designated areas, including patient rooms and operating rooms
  • Restock dispensing machines with folded and stocked scrubs
  • Organize shelving storage areas to ensure easy access to linens
  • Exchange empty linen carts for full ones and transport them to the linen room
  • Record all linen deliveries and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Empty trash and refill dispensers as needed
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience preferred
  • Able to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Able to read and follow written and oral instructions
  • Able to distinguish colors and hear sufficiently to safely complete job duties
  • Able to safely operate standard equipment required for the position
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
