Quality Assurance Coordinator

Pharmavite is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team in Opelika, AL. As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the consistent quality of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and review all manufacturing or packaging documents, processing steps, and laboratory test records to ensure appropriate disposition.
  • Inspect and review documentation of bulk, components, labels, and finished goods to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Conduct in-process audits and testing as assigned to support company programs and established procedures.
  • Review and dispose of bulk, components, labels, and finished goods if all documents meet written specifications and enter disposition in the system.
  • Review and approve batch record minor NCRs and batch production change controls as needed.
  • Communicate problems to Quality department leaders and resubmit documentation for corrective action, where required.
  • Prepare reject notices for non-conforming product, components, or labels to ensure quarantine process is followed.
Requirements:
  • Education: GED or High school education required.
  • Certification: None.
  • Experience: One year experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in Quality is preferred.
  • Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Working knowledge of quality system requirements, experience with QA measuring and testing equipment, ability to speak, read, and write English, effective communication and interpersonal skills, computer skills in data entry and processing, ability to conduct mathematical calculations, and attention to detail.

Annual Pay: $41,808.00 - $61,808.00. This represents the minimum and maximum base salary range for this role, plus annual incentive. Various elements are used to determine a candidate's starting salary, such as job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in the role.

Pharmavite provides compensation for all overtime hours worked by non-exempt (hourly) employees in accordance with state and federal law. The need to work overtime hours will be determined by management, based on customer and business necessity to meet the needs of our business.
