Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is responsible for delivering skilled technical nursing care and services to patients in accordance with a care plan developed by the healthcare provider.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid California LVN license is required.
  • Relevant nursing practice and experience are necessary.
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered based on staffing needs.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
  • Demonstration of current competencies and certifications for each specific department is essential.
  • Required skills include:
    • Proficiency in reading, speaking, and writing English to fulfill job responsibilities.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team to achieve collective goals.
    • Capability to manage multiple demands and adjust priorities as necessary to meet the nursing and staffing requirements of the department.
    • Consistent accuracy and precision in performing nursing procedures.
    • Treating colleagues, physicians, patients, families, visitors, and the public with dignity and respect.
    • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all hospital personnel while ensuring patient confidentiality.
    • Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to work additional hours as needed to provide quality patient care.

Pay Range

$38.44 per hour
