About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Knowhirematch. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing purchasing strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Purchasing Strategies: Research, evaluate, and purchase electronic automotive components for assigned commodities and suppliers to establish, achieve, maintain, and improve new model and mass production cost targets.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Correlate and select suppliers to provide stable quality, competitive cost, and on-time delivery, and maintain effective supplier relationships.
  • Negotiation and Communication: Negotiate price with suppliers, process quotations, and coordinate timely communications with domestic and international companies regarding design changes and mass production products.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Issue Supplier Documents, including contracts, agreements, forecasts, Request for Quotation (RFQ), Maker Layout Letter, and perform accurate and timely quotation management.
  • Industry Research and Analysis: Research and monitor industry trends, including sourcing, technology, and market price, to inform procurement decisions.
  • Logistics and Problem Resolution: Execute problem resolution for international suppliers and translate and support when communicating with international Japanese companies.
Requirements
  • Procurement Experience: Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with a focus on cost savings and supplier relationships.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the automotive industry, including electronic components and supplier relationships.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with domestic and international suppliers.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and analyze industry trends and supplier data.
