We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pain Management Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Summit Placement Service, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Thorough Patient Evaluations:
    • Assess and document pain levels, symptoms, and functional limitations.
    • Order and interpret diagnostic tests as necessary.
  • Develop Individualized Treatment Plans:
    • Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, as appropriate for pain management.
    • Provide patient education on pain management techniques, medication use, and potential side effects.
    • Coordinate care with other healthcare providers, including physical therapists, psychologists, and specialists.
  • Assist in Performing Interventional Pain Management Procedures:
    • Assist in performing interventional pain management procedures, such as joint injections, nerve blocks, and trigger point injections.
    • Monitor patients during and after procedures to ensure safety and efficacy.
  • Conduct Regular Follow-up Visits:

    • Manage chronic pain conditions by evaluating ongoing treatment effectiveness and making necessary modifications.
    • Address patient concerns and manage any complications or side effects.

Requirements:

  • Must be a licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
