Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Logistics Quality Assurance Specialist is tasked with ensuring the precision and excellence of the order fulfillment process managed by the Distribution Specialist. This role encompasses logging, tracking, assembling, selecting, and verifying orders and associated information. Additionally, the Logistics Quality Assurance Specialist may engage in general warehouse operations, including induction, staging, and order fulfillment, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve established quality and productivity standards with or without supervision.
  • Collaborate effectively with diverse teams in a cooperative environment.
  • Maintain a consistent attendance record.
  • Utilize computer systems for logging, Warehouse Management System (WMS) navigation, and software applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Quality Assurance Duties:

  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of orders processed through the picking module.
  • Report quality concerns and issues to the supervisor promptly.
  • Monitor and verify the accuracy and quality of the order fulfillment process as executed on the picking module.
  • Deliver exceptional quality of work for the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Capability to meet production standards and deadlines.
  • Comprehend verbal and written production orders to execute tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in reading small print in English, identifying numbers, letters, and special characters.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
  • Experience operating handheld mobile devices for logging and confirming tasks.
  • Proficient in using computer systems for various applications.
  • Ability to utilize tethered scanners and perform manual counts.

Education:

  • High school diploma, GED, or relevant experience.

Preferred Experience:

  • At least one year of experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.

  • Must pass a drug screening and background check.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.

  • Capable of bending, sitting, standing, reaching, and walking for extended periods.
  • Comfortable with heights and working in proximity to others.
  • Ability to navigate a moving conveyor system.
  • Full range of motion in upper and lower body.
  • Good hand dexterity for handling tasks.
