Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Quality Assurance Specialist is tasked with ensuring the precision and excellence of the order fulfillment operations conducted by the Distribution Specialist. This role encompasses responsibilities such as logging, tracking, assembling, selecting, and verifying orders and related information. Additionally, the Quality Assurance Specialist may engage in general warehouse activities, including induction, staging, and order fulfillment. This position requires the ability to work autonomously in a production setting while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve established quality and productivity benchmarks with or without supervision.
  • Collaborate effectively with diverse teams and contribute positively in a cooperative environment.
  • Maintain a reliable attendance record.
  • Utilize computer systems for logging, navigating the Warehouse Management System (WMS), and using applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Quality Assurance Duties:

  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of orders processed through the picking module.
  • Report quality concerns and issues to the supervisor promptly.
  • Monitor and confirm the accuracy and quality of the order fulfillment process as executed on the picking module.
  • Deliver outstanding quality of work for the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Capability to meet production standards and deadlines.
  • Comprehend verbal and written production directives to execute tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in reading small print in English, identifying numbers, letters, and special characters.
  • Basic arithmetic skills including counting, addition, subtraction, and division.
  • Experience operating handheld mobile devices for logging, assembling, selecting, and verifying orders.
  • Proficient in using computer systems for logging, WMS navigation, and standard office applications.
  • Ability to use tethered scanners, perform manual counts, and document discrepancies.

Education:

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant experience.

Preferred Experience:

  • At least one year of experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.

  • Must pass a drug screening and background investigation.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and stack totes, with or without product, repeatedly up to 40 pounds.
  • Capability to bend, sit, stand, reach, and walk for extended periods.
  • Comfortable with heights and able to work around others.
  • Ability to work with moving conveyors.
  • Full range of motion in upper and lower body.
  • Ability to reach overhead and work in various positions, including stooping, standing, bending, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods.
  • Good hand dexterity.
