Corporate Legal Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Corporate Legal Support Specialist to join our growing Real Estate department at Rudman & Winchell LLC. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our attorneys and play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial real estate transactions.
Key Responsibilities- Document Preparation and Management: Prepare and edit documents, including contracts, agreements, and other legal documents, utilizing legal formats and terminology.
- File Maintenance and Organization: Maintain accurate and up-to-date files, including client and general corporate files, and perform periodic reviews to identify inactive files for potential closure.
- Communication and Client Relations: Answer and direct telephone calls, record accurate messages, and maintain positive public relations with clients and other stakeholders.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling appointments, preparing meeting materials, and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Technology and Software: Utilize Microsoft Office and document management applications to process documents, manage files, and maintain accurate records.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as paralegal or administrative support.
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management applications.
This is a full-time position, working in a normal office environment with minimal exposure to excessive noise, temperature, and other environmental factors. The position requires extensive sitting and occasional standing or walking. The ability to lift up to 40 pounds is required.
