Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and lead All-Staff events and quarterly onboarding sessions.
  • Encourage a positive and inclusive workplace culture that values diversity.
  • Create and manage schedules for the nursing department, monitor changes, and approve shift trades.
  • Keep accurate records of attendance, including call-outs and tardiness, and coordinate with HR to ensure fair application of attendance policies.
  • Monitor daily performance metrics.
  • Manage and reduce staff overtime effectively.
  • Engage agency staff as necessary to fill open shifts as a last resort.
  • Provide detailed reports to the Director of Nursing regarding staffing levels, vacancies, or agency utilization.
  • Maintain precise records of all paid time off and change requests.
  • Experience with payroll processing and minor HR functions is essential.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree or specialized HR certification is preferred.
  • At least two years of HR experience in a multifaceted organization.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and maintain confidentiality; a high level of integrity is essential.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to engage effectively with managers, supervisors, and staff.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and a willingness to adopt a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience, plus potential incentive bonuses.
