Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at WVUHS Home Care, LLC. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' physical and mental abilities to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and instruct patients in therapeutic self-care and creative activities to promote functional independence.
  • Perform evaluations and assessments to identify patients' needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on proper techniques and strategies for daily living.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Graduate from a school of occupational therapy.
  • Current Occupational Therapy license within the state of West Virginia or appropriate state where services will be provided.
  • Registered by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board.
  • Valid driver's license and minimum auto insurance.
  • CPR certification within 30 days of hire date.
Working Environment

The Occupational Therapist will work in a variety of settings, including patients' homes, to provide comprehensive care and support. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
