Lead Pharmacy Technician Opportunity

Optum is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Lead Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the pharmacy team in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to pharmacy technicians in the performance of their duties
  • Assist in the management of pharmacy inventory and supplies
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and pharmacy operations

Requirements:

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Oregon
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • 2+ years of pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Valid US driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Long Term Care experience
  • Travel/Floating Pharmacy Experience
