Lead Pharmacy Technician Role

At Optum, we're seeking a skilled Lead Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
  • Fill prescription orders and verify medication stock under the supervision of a registered pharmacist
  • Order, receive, and store pharmacy supplies
  • Process wholesaler medication orders and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Perform various clerical duties and communicate effectively with colleagues

Requirements:
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Oregon
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • 2+ years of pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
  • Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license
