Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the dining services department, ensuring seamless execution of meal services and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Assist the Dining Room Manager in planning and implementing menus, ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.
- Oversee the training and development of dining services staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and quality food preparation.
- Collaborate with the Director of Dining Services to develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase revenue, and enhance the overall dining experience.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with inter-departmental personnel and other departments within the facility to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- High school diploma or equivalent, plus one year certificate from college or technical school preferred.
- Minimum of one to two years related experience, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
- Current ServSafe Certification required.
- Ability to read and write English, communicate effectively with residents and staff, and follow oral and written directions.
- Outgoing and cheerful personality, with the ability to work with older adults and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods.
- Occasional weekend, evening, or night work may be required to ensure shift coverage.
- Exposure to communicable diseases and infections.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
