Key Responsibilities- Installation and Maintenance: Install and test the operations of all equipment to ensure proper functionality and signal verification required to establish service.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot technical problems with alarm panels and other security equipment.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including system demonstrations, customer education, and training.
- Site Evaluation: Conduct thorough walkthroughs and site evaluations with customers to review work orders and ensure systems meet their needs and expectations.
- Equipment Replacement: Replace system components as assigned, including panels, peripheral devices, audible/visual alarms, etc.
- Driving and Travel: Drive to customer homes to perform service, occasionally lifting, carrying (up to 30 pounds), pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, frequent stops, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Driving Record: Good driving record and valid driver's license.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills.
- Security Knowledge: Working knowledge of how an alarm system operates.
- Physical Demands: Must be okay with climbing ladders and working at heights, and working in tight spaces such as crawlspaces, attics, and basements.
- Certifications: Low-voltage license or alarm installation certification, NICET I.
