At Knorr-Bremse, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist 2 to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing and tracking all necessary maintenance on equipment, ensuring that our heavy-haul railroad operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment, including inspections, repairs, and replacements.
  2. Coordinate with production managers and other team members to complete maintenance and repairs, minimizing downtime and production interruptions.
  3. Assign and perform daily activities, discussing projects as needed and obtaining priorities.
  4. Respond to requests for maintenance as directed.
  5. Participate in Kaizen activities to implement changes to the building and equipment.
  6. Assist with ordering maintenance supplies through our SRM system.
  7. Work to minimize outside labor by completing necessary maintenance tasks with internal resources.
  8. Perform hazardous waste management duties as necessary.

Requirements:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Three to five years of experience in building and manufacturing equipment maintenance or a related field.
