Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team at WASH Multifamily Laundry Systems. As an essential member of our operations, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of washers and dryers in apartment complexes, condominiums, and customers' homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and remove washers and dryers from trucks using hand trucks and lift gates.
  • Prepare machines for installation, moving them into and out of laundry areas as needed.
  • Connect and disconnect fill and drain hoses from washers, and build exhaust vents using sheet metal when necessary.
  • Connect exhaust vents and gas lines to dryers, performing minor plumbing and electrical work.
  • Clean floors around machines, remove lint from floor drains, and lubricate washers and dryers.
  • Replace worn belts, change defective or jammed coin slides, and pick up worn parts from the area garage.
  • Deliver rebuilt parts to the area garage and report necessary work to skilled service technicians.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • You must have a good driving record and possess effective English communication skills (oral and written).
  • Bilingual skills (English and Spanish) are desirable.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools are essential, and we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • You must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and occasionally move 200 pounds or more with a dolly/hand truck.
Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary for this position is between $18.00 and $24.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
