Job Summary
Chamberlain University is seeking a qualified Clinical Faculty member to join our team. As a Clinical Faculty, you will be responsible for implementing the College's philosophy, curriculum, and program outcomes through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, health system, and profession.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and mentor nursing students in a clinical setting, providing direct supervision and evaluation of their performance.
- Develop and implement clinical experiences that align with course objectives and student learning needs.
- Evaluate student performance and provide documented feedback.
- Collaborate with clinical partners to ensure a high-quality learning experience for students.
- Stay current with agency/clinical policies, procedures, and expectations.
- Grade student assignments and provide timely feedback.
- May teach didactic course content under the supervision of a course coordinator.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must have a master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university, an unencumbered professional nursing license in the state of Kansas, and at least two years of professional experience within the last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse. Teaching or precepting experience is preferred but not required.
What We Offer
