About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director to lead our business development efforts and drive revenue growth at ASD Specialty Healthcare LLC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in business development, strategic consulting, or other analytical work in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or related industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies and tactics to ensure business development opportunities are integrated across the organization and with Specialty GPOs.
  • Collaborate with business development associates to execute integrated selling processes and drive revenue growth.
  • Manage and oversee business development operations functions, including pipeline management and integrated business development communication.
  • Develop and execute business development pipeline monitoring process and track lead cross-functional workstreams.
  • Optimize ROI by evaluating usage, business protocols, data requirements, and the benefit of purchasing new industry data.
  • Identify ways to reduce time to contracting or ease of contracting across the organization.
  • Leverage content marketing resources, conferences, customer events, and corporate websites to enhance lead generation.
  • Analyze, prioritize, and transition ad hoc business development leads to the most appropriate business development associate.
Requirements
  • Broad training in sales, marketing, pharmacy science, or a related field, generally obtained through completion of a 4-year bachelor's degree program.
  • 10+ years' experience in business development, strategic consulting, or other analytical work in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or related industries.
  • Experience with operational processes to drive sales, healthcare marketing, business development, and account-based sales experience.
  • MBA or other related graduate-level degree is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience acting as a strategic thought partner to teams, analyzing and improving sales processes and tools, and developing effective metrics for sales operations success.
