Job Description

As a Part-time Teller with Pennian Bank, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the financial needs of our community.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various duties to support the paying and receiving function of our community office. This includes accepting deposits, cashing checks, selling cashier's checks, money orders, and certified checks, as well as processing loan payments and safe deposit box rent.

You will also be expected to maintain an awareness of new business opportunities with customers, actively refer them to appropriate customer service personnel, and ensure accurate balancing of cash drawers on a daily basis.

Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent with an emphasis in a business or accounting curriculum.
  • Proficient analytical and mathematics skills, proficient communicative and interpersonal relations skills, and moderate reading, writing, and grammar skills.
Estimated Salary Range

$25,000 - $35,000 per year, depending on experience.
