About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Underground Foreman to join our team at MasTec Communications Group. As an Underground Foreman, you will play a critical role in supporting all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use your knowledge and skills in construction to build, repair, and maintain projects
  • Work in outdoor utility construction sites
  • Troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field
  • Train your crew on various kinds of tools and equipment
  • Operate backhoes, dozer, cable plow, air compressors, trenchers, hydraulic reel trailers, and other types of machinery
  • Manage all aspects of job-site construction
Requirements
  • Safety is a part of your day-to-day
  • You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality
  • You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work
  • You are looking for long-term projects
  • You enjoy getting your hands dirty with your team
  • Embrace the challenge of coaching and mentoring your team
  • You know the telecom construction industry, including Coax Splicing, Fiber Splicing, Directional Drilling, Aerial and Underground Construction, etc.
