Speech Language Pathologist Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Louisville, Georgia and surrounding areas.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist in conducting speech and language assessments, collaborate with speech-language pathologists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide one-on-one or group therapy sessions to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify students' communication needs.
  • Collaborate with speech-language pathologists to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual students' needs.
  • Provide therapy sessions to students, either one-on-one or in groups, to help them develop their communication and language skills.
  • Monitor and track students' progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other team members to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
  • Georgia SLPA licensure or eligibility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for working with students and helping them succeed.
