Aveanna Healthcare Private Duty Nurse for Adult Patients

Aveanna Healthcare is a leading provider of home health services to medically fragile children and adults. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse to join our team and provide high-quality care to adult patients in their homes.

Job Summary

The Private Duty Nurse will work closely with our patients and their families to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet their unique needs and goals. This is a full-time position with opportunities for part-time and PRN work.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and coordinate care plans in accordance with physician orders
  • Provide skilled nursing care to adult patients in their homes
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner
  • Collaborate with patients and families to educate them on disease management and self-care techniques
Requirements
  • Current, unrestricted license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • One year of experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting
  • Home health experience preferred
