- Coordinate and adjust welder settings, gun speed, and gas flow to achieve optimal results.
- Read and interpret blueprints and tape measures to shop standard.
- Decide on adjustments or gun manipulation to achieve desired outcomes.
- Train and teach proper welding procedures to team members.
- Operate overhead cranes and other lifting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain high-quality products by adhering to specified shapes, sizes, and penetrations.
- Ensure accuracy in numerical and alphabetical sequences.
- Participate in continuous improvement practices to enhance work area efficiency.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and training skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
