Job Title: Finish Welder 1st Shift

At Cornerstone Building Brands, we are seeking a skilled Finish Welder to join our team. As a Finish Welder, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate welder settings, gun speed, and gas flow to achieve optimal results.
  • Read blueprints and shop standards to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Decide when adjustments or gun manipulation are necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Train and teach proper welding procedures to team members.
  • Operate overhead cranes and other lifting equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain high-quality products by adhering to specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Associates degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school.
  • 1-3 years of experience in welding or a related field.
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and documents.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
