Job Title: Laboratory Testing Manager

About the Job:

The laboratory is seeking a skilled Laboratory Testing Manager to oversee daily operations of point-of-care testing. This role involves ensuring quality control, regulatory compliance, and effective communication among healthcare staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations of point-of-care testing, ensuring all procedures comply with established protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor quality control and quality assurance procedures, conducting regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Training and Education: Develop and implement training programs for staff on POCT procedures and equipment, providing ongoing education and support to healthcare providers on the use of POCT.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of testing procedures, results, and quality control, analyzing data to improve processes and patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Laboratory Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in laboratory settings, particularly with point-of-care testing.
  • Certification: Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in data management and laboratory information systems.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
