Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a K-12 school district in Sandy, OR. As a contract SLP, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse student population and make a meaningful impact on their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) to address these needs.
- Therapy Services: Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students with identified speech and language disorders, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
- Consultation and Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, counselors, parents, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective strategies to support students' speech and language development.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, and provide regular reports to parents and school administrators.
- Caseload Management: Organize and manage your caseload, developing a schedule that ensures efficient and effective use of your time.
- Qualifications: Oregon SLP license (or Clinical Fellowship pending licensure)
- Skills and Attributes: Excellent communication and organizational skills, up-to-date knowledge of special education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings, professionalism, and accountability.
