Job Title: Speech Pathologist PRN

Job Summary:

The Speech Pathologist PRN is responsible for providing clinical services to patients with communication disorders, including speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing. This role requires a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and a current state license. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the target population and possess basic computer skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides clinical services to patients with communication disorders
  • Develops and implements treatment plans to meet patient needs
  • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Supervises and educates students and new employees
  • Participates in patient care conferences and staff meetings

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state Speech Pathologist license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
  • Hospital experience
  • Experience working with the target population

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MBS/FE
  • Current certificate of clinical competence
  • Speech Pathology experience
  • Basic computer skills

Work Environment:

This role is located at Intermountain Health Alta View Hospital in Sandy, Utah. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care.
