Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the financial operations of the facility, focusing on accounting, cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure a strong internal control framework that complies with corporate policies and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with plant leadership to drive business performance and meet financial objectives.
  • Manage the monthly financial closing and reporting cycle effectively.
  • Encourage and implement Continuous Improvement initiatives within the finance team.
  • Prepare and support Capital Expenditure Requests with appropriate financial analysis as per company standards.
  • Maintain precise and compliant balance sheet accounts along with their reconciliations.
  • Coordinate both internal and external audit processes related to the financial records of the plant.
  • Mentor and develop team members to foster individual career growth.
  • Execute additional related tasks and analyses as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is essential; MBA or CPA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in an Accounting or Finance role, preferably within the automotive sector.
  • Possess a strong sense of ownership over plant financials, demonstrating a CFO mindset.
  • Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with MFGPro, SAP, or Hyperion is advantageous.
  • Ability to navigate complex situations and manage tight deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player.
  • Skilled in analyzing intricate data and presenting insights clearly, both verbally and in written formats.
  • Comfortable delivering presentations to senior management.
