Job Opportunity at the University of Pennsylvania

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and pediatric urology fellows in the operating room, outpatient clinic, and on inpatient rounds.
  • Care for urologic patients, including open, endoscopic, and minimally invasive surgery.
  • Conduct research in areas of clinical outcomes, exstrophy, hypospadias, and urologic reconstruction.
Requirements:
  • MD or MD/Ph.D. degree from an accredited institution.
  • Certification by the American Board of Urology or eligibility for such certification.
  • Completion of an ACGME-approved pediatric urology fellowship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A strong research background and demonstrated potential for developing independent research.
  • Publishing experience in peer-reviewed journals.
