Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Early Intervention Occupational Therapist to join our team at Criterion Child Enrichment. As an integral member of our trans-disciplinary team, you will provide essential services to families with children birth to 3 years of age who require support for developmental delays or at-risk conditions.

About the Role

In this rewarding position, you will be responsible for delivering home-based and community-based services to families across our catchment area. Your expertise will be instrumental in facilitating screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center visits, and home visits as part of our comprehensive early intervention programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of infant-toddler development areas.
  • Apply a parent coaching model when working with families.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams for screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, and other relevant activities.
  • Deliver home-based services to assigned families.
  • Cultivate partnerships with local community providers to ensure seamless service continuity for families, including childcare centers, medical professionals, social services agencies, and specialists supporting children with autism or hearing/vision impairments.
  • Provide service coordination to your assigned caseload, overseeing Individual Family Service Plan development, monitoring, and review.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Allied Professional Health.
  • Prior experience in pediatric settings preferred, especially with two or more years of direct involvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Adobe, and Office365 (Outlook, OneDrive, Teams).
  • Ability to utilize computer-based technology, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
  • Bilingual/bicultural candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
