About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Application Support Specialist to join our team at Saxon Global. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support and maintenance for our Oracle Cloud Financials and SAP Customer Activity Repository systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • IT Support and Maintenance: Provide timely and effective support for our Oracle Cloud Financials and SAP Customer Activity Repository systems, ensuring seamless operation and minimal downtime.
  • Requirements Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and develop requirements for system enhancements and upgrades.
  • Issue Escalation: Escalate platform-related issues to vendors and internal IT support teams, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
  • Documentation and Training: Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, data mappings, and business processes. Provide training and support to end-users as needed.
  • Change Management: Coordinate change management efforts and ensure adherence to established processes for system releases and configuration changes.
Requirements
  • Foundational Accounting Knowledge: Possess a solid understanding of accounting concepts, including financial transactions, general ledger, and financial position.
  • SQL Skills: Be proficient in executing simple to moderately complex SQL select statements and creating data definitions and source-to-target mappings.
  • Cloud-Based Experience: Have previous experience as a Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) and as a cloud-based or on-premise COTS product administrator.
  • Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical details to both IT and business professionals.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Oracle Cloud Financials Experience: Previous experience with the implementation and/or support of Oracle Cloud Financials and Budgeting software.
  • SAP Customer Activity Repository Experience: Previous experience with the implementation and/or support of SAP Customer Activity Repository.
