Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cook Supervisor to join our team at Chartwells HE. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food-service associates, ensuring the highest quality of food and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and develop food-service associates to meet the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work to ensure efficient kitchen operations and meet customer demands.
  • Advises management on purchasing requirements to minimize waste and avoid product shortages.
  • Ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control through the use of approved food recipes and production standards.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment in accordance with department procedures.
  • Store, label, and date food items according to policy to minimize spoilage and waste.
  • Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of our food supply.
  • Assist with meal service and remain present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer feedback.
