**Job Summary**

The Financial Transaction Coordinator is responsible for managing and processing all financial transactions received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Financial Transaction Coordinator will work closely with the Finance team to ensure smooth operations and compliance with company policies and regulations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process invoices in a timely manner, match purchase orders to invoices, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Payment Processing: Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments, reconcile accounts payable transactions, and monitor accounts to ensure payments are current.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain vendor files, manage vendor inquiries, set up new vendor accounts, update existing accounts, reconcile vendor statements, and correct discrepancies.
  • Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and organized files for all payable transactions, assist with month-end closing, prepare analysis of accounts, and generate and distribute financial reports as needed.
  • Compliance & Controls: Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures, assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and information, and stay informed about changes in financial regulations and best practices.

**Requirements:**

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an associate's degree in accounting is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in accounts payable or a similar role is required.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational and time management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity are essential.

**Estimated Salary:** $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
