Job Title: General Manager

Fitt Talent Partners is a specialized recruitment firm working with top health, fitness, and wellness companies. We're filling this role for a client - A luxury social wellness club focused on holistic health and community.

Job Summary

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business, ensuring operational efficiency, member/guest experience, staff retention, and optimal profit. This includes day-to-day staff management, ambassadorship for the brand, and strategic business partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee facility operations and maintain an elite operational standard.
  2. Drive the culture within the facility.
  3. Lead, oversee, coach, mentor, and develop all levels of employees.
  4. Track, report, and hit all KPI goals and metrics set for the facility.
  5. Make impactful financial decisions to positively impact the monthly P&L results.
  6. Optimize the member experience and ensure member satisfaction.
  7. Work closely with the Marketing and Digital team to develop strategic outreach for securing member referrals.
  8. Develop and collaborate with the VP, Club Operations to drive strategic business objectives.
  9. Pivot and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
  10. Look for ways to improve cost-effectiveness of the club.
  11. Build partnerships with other aligned brands and networks to grow our impact.
  12. Brainstorm and investigate new opportunities for revenue streams, products, services, and experiences.
Requirements
  1. 4+ years of management experience leading teams with a strong work ethic and a track record of motivating staff while ensuring accountability.
  2. Extensive experience in the hospitality industry with a deep understanding of luxury guest service standards.
  3. Ability to continuously innovate and develop strategic plans to drive business growth.
  4. Experience working in the health and/or wellness industry preferred.
  5. Highly organized with strong time management skills and practices.
  6. Solution-oriented and self-motivated to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong rapport with guests, staff, and stakeholders.
  8. Proficient in managing P&L statements, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
  9. Proficient in leveraging technology solutions to streamline operations and enhance guest experiences.
