Position Overview
The Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering direct clinical care to patients across various departments. This role is essential in ensuring that high-quality nursing care is provided consistently throughout the facility.
- Patient Care: Conduct thorough assessments, plan and implement care strategies, and evaluate patient outcomes on a per shift basis.
- Supervision: Oversee nursing staff and delegate appropriate care tasks to ensure optimal patient care.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to maintain high standards of nursing practice and resource management.
This position requires a commitment of 36 hours per week, with shifts primarily during the night.
Qualifications- Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Licensure: Current RN license in the state of Massachusetts is mandatory. Additional certifications in specialty areas are recommended.
- Experience: A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in a relevant nursing specialty is preferred.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required in specific areas.
- Bilingual Skills: Proficiency in both Spanish and English is preferred.
