Job Description

Empowered Early Learning Academy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our young students, ages 3-5, and preparing them for a successful transition to kindergarten.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our students.
  • Establish a safe and nurturing learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive community.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, assessments, and instructional strategies that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education, attending professional development opportunities and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Passion for working with young children and their families.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with diverse populations and cultures.
  • Knowledge of child development theories and practices.
  • Fluency in a second language.
