We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Inventory Cycle Counter. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory records.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Count and record physical inventory, including materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies, to provide accurate inventory records for the warehouse.
- Inventory Analysis: Compare inventory records to office records, compute figures, and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and maintain reports, such as inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns, to support business decisions.
- Inventory Rotation and Maintenance: Monitor inventory rotations, make recommendations, and ensure that inventory is properly stored and maintained to prevent shrinkage.
- Quality Assurance: Verify clerical computations against physical counts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain shrink at or below company standards.
- Education: High School Degree or General Educational Development (GED).
- Experience: 1-3 years of inventory experience in a warehouse environment.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift, unload, and carry totes and bundles up to 30 lbs. repetitively and up to 60 lbs. occasionally, push up to 50 lbs., and move a dolly loaded with up to 250 lbs.
