Job Summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to lead our store team in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and execute inventory management processes to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient inventory turnover.
  • Lead and support the visual merchandising team to create visually appealing store displays and maintain a well-merchandised store.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and execute shrink and safety programs to minimize losses and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Train and develop team members to achieve their full potential and meet performance goals.
  • Collaborate with the store management team to achieve business objectives and drive store performance.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Strong inventory management and visual merchandising skills.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
