About the Job

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. As a Child Development Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to work under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor to conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and train team members to support the individuals we serve.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with children and staff to observe, identify, analyze, and document behavior problems
  • Develop and implement strategies to address identified problem areas
  • Develop programs to increase skills and provide ABA therapy throughout the day
  • Use training and creativity to explore ways to handle challenging problems for our individuals to be successful in the home, at school, and in the community
  • Create individualized treatment plans to help increase functional skills for the individuals served
  • Train team members on the principles of behavior analysis and individual programming to promote client success
  • Conduct trainings for caregivers to teach the skills necessary for their child's success
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field
  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board preferred
  • At least 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience or training in examining or treating people with ASD or a related condition
  • Valid driver's license, current registration, and insurance
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $62,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
