Job Summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Charge Nurse (RN) to join our Women's Services team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leadership to our team of nurses.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to women and newborns in the labor and delivery suite, including antepartum, labor, and postpartum care.
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses to ensure high-quality patient care and a positive work environment.
  • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal results.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care.

Requirements

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a labor and delivery setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
