Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care Associates are essential in creating a nurturing and supportive atmosphere where the well-being of residents is prioritized. From assisting with daily living activities to providing companionship and emotional support, you play a crucial role in fostering a homelike environment that emphasizes dignity, respect, and personalized attention for each resident.

  • Offer companionship and emotional support to cultivate a comforting and engaging environment.
  • Collaborate with nursing and healthcare teams to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.
  • Assist residents with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Aid residents with mobility, including transferring and repositioning to enhance comfort and promote independence.
  • Support residents during meals, ensuring proper nutrition and accommodating individual dietary preferences.
  • Observe and report changes in residents' physical and emotional health.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Patient Care Associate certification in the state of Indiana.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
  • Strong dedication to geriatric care and commitment to excellence in senior services.
