Electrical Technician Job Description

As an Electrician at the State of Florida, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, altering, and repairing wiring, power appliances, light machinery, and electrical circuits on equipment buildings, highway lighting, and electrical safety devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and maintain electrical systems, including wiring and circuits.
  • Perform electrical work on deep well water pumps, sump pumps, motor generator sets, and other equipment.
  • Locate and correct power failures and short circuits.
  • Ensure electrical safety and compliance with relevant regulations.
