Job Overview

Kasai North America, Inc is seeking a seasoned Production Control General Manager to oversee the production planning and materials management processes. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience in production planning and material management in a plastic manufacturing environment.

About the Role

This is a key leadership position that requires strong organizational, interpersonal, and mathematical skills to successfully meet the requirements and expectations of this position. The Production Control General Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, and/or cost reduction strategies.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective production scheduling and inventory planning strategies to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs.
  2. Lead the development and implementation of material planning and procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of raw materials and components.
  3. Manage and lead cross-functional teams to achieve departmental and plant goals and objectives.
  4. Participate in identifying root cause and corrective actions to improve processes and meet plant objectives.
  5. Ensure compliance with customer requirements and outside audit requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 6-10 years of prior production planning and material management experience in a plastic manufacturing or similar environment.
  • APICS/CPIM certification preferred.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Kasai North America, Inc offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
