Required Skills & Knowledge:

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist all guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Execute job responsibilities in a cost-effective manner while adhering to budgetary guidelines.
- Inspect all operational systems and components of the hotel to ensure proper, efficient, and safe functioning.
- Respond promptly to guest issues or concerns and inform the appropriate parties once resolved.
- Conduct preventative maintenance, repairs, or recommend repairs for all mechanical/electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing systems, as well as all building components and furnishings. Advise management if external contractors are necessary.
- Maintain the grounds, landscaping, and parking areas in a clean, safe, and appealing manner.
- May be required to assign and oversee the work of other maintenance staff.
- Perform preventative maintenance in a timely manner, ensuring all elements of the hotel meet brand standards.
- Conduct painting, carpentry, plumbing, carpet cleaning, and other tasks as needed.
- Procure and maintain an inventory of supplies, ensuring adequate quantity and quality.
- Keep all storage areas, shops, and mechanical spaces clean, safe, and secure.
- Acquire a working knowledge of the property and facilities to effectively respond to guest inquiries.
- Understand and apply all hotel safety and security protocols to maintain a secure environment for employees and guests.
- Keep supervisors promptly informed of any significant issues or unusual matters for timely corrective action.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:
The Facilities Operations Manager will work both indoors and outdoors regularly. This position requires continuous standing, walking, lifting, carrying, bending, and reaching throughout the shift. Potential hazards may include, but are not limited to, slipping and tripping, working with sharp objects and tools, operating equipment, and exposure to variable temperatures, weather elements, bloodborne pathogens, chemicals, and fumes.
