About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Clinician II to join our team at the J.D. McCarty Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing psychological assessments, evaluations, and interventions to children and adolescents in our inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including cognitive, academic, and adaptive functioning evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based therapies and interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing, therapy, and medical staff, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide parent training, in-service training, and behavioral support to patients and families.
  • Participate in admission meetings, interim team meetings, and discharge meetings to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Document all interactions, assessments, and interventions in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Clinical, or School Psychology, or related field.
  • Coursework in psychological testing, including cognitive assessment, behavioral adjustment, achievement, and adaptive behavior.
  • Experience in trauma-focused therapies, working with children and adolescents, and individuals with developmental disabilities is desirable.
  • Ability to administer and interpret psychological tests, and write comprehensive psychological evaluations.
