Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Veterinarian to join our team as an In-Home Care Specialist. As a key member of our mobile practice, you will provide in-home euthanasia and hospice care for geriatric and terminally ill pets, guiding families in making end-of-life decisions and building relationships with local veterinary clinics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide in-home euthanasia and hospice care for pets, ensuring a peaceful and dignified experience for both the animal and their family.
  • Conduct thorough consultations with pet owners to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized care and support.
  • Collaborate with local veterinary clinics to extend their excellent care and provide a seamless experience for pet owners.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest best practices and advancements in in-home veterinary care.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a practicing veterinarian.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. assisted.
  • Manual dexterity and fine motor skills to handle medical tools.
