Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nursing Specialist to join our Home Care team. As a Psychiatric Nursing Specialist, you will play a vital role in coordinating patient care and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to maintain standards of professional nursing practice in the Home Care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinates the total Plan of Care for patients in the Home Care setting, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating their needs.
  • Provides leadership for the Health Care team by working cooperatively with other team members to maintain standards of professional nursing practice in the Home Care setting.
  • Works collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Assesses patient needs and develops individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
  • Evaluates patient progress and makes adjustments to care plans as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • AAS in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  • 1 year of psychiatric experience as a RN with good working knowledge of psychiatric diagnosis, psychiatric medication, and treatment (within the last 3 years) required.
  • 1 year of Medical/Surgical experience as a RN required.
  • RN license, NYS Driver's license, and current APNA Transitions in Practice Certificate Required upon hire.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $40.80-$50.90 per hour, with a bi-weekly schedule of 80 hours. Weekend and/or holiday scheduling is required. We also offer a range of benefits, including:

Salary and Benefits

Our estimated salary range for this role is $40.80-$50.90 per hour. We also offer a range of benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, life insurance, and disability insurance.

Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
