Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire proficiency in the ServiceNow management tool to process client requirements.
  • Implement configuration management principles as they relate to IT service management.
  • Identify requests delayed by the approval process and take appropriate actions to expedite them.

Assess whether Customer Requests are routine or non-routine. Efficiently prioritize and manage multiple requests to ensure timely approvals and implementations based on established criteria. Prepare to present each above-baseline Customer Request to seek C4WG approval of Technical Solution & Cost (TS&C) prior to execution.

Generate various status reports and document important actions and decisions from meetings.

Possess an understanding of project management principles to effectively track and manage IT requests.

Participate in planning and requirements meetings with IT personnel, program managers, and clients as necessary. Collaborate with Technical Analysts, Project Coordinators, and clients during the validation phase. Differentiate between baseline, baseline enhanced, and above baseline requests, understanding the appropriate handling for each type.

Gather additional information and justification for requests when necessary and present this information effectively to a board for approval. Verify user accounts using Active Directory to ensure access to requested devices.

Have a working knowledge of various ticket types and the ability to transfer and manage them efficiently. Navigate through accounts and tickets on ServiceNow effectively.

Organize, prepare, and lead meetings to discuss IT requests and related matters. Provide timely updates on ticket statuses when requested by stakeholders.

Demonstrate clear communication with stakeholders, including IT staff, management, and end-users. Troubleshoot issues that arise during the approval and implementation phases.

Possess familiarity with various IT systems and technologies beyond just Active Directory and ServiceNow, including networking fundamentals and the software development lifecycle. Document processes, decisions, and communications related to IT requests thoroughly.

Ensure that all aspects of a request are comprehensively considered and documented. Focus on delivering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Exhibit the ability to mediate disputes between departments or individuals regarding IT requests. Understand regulatory and compliance requirements pertinent to IT operations. Commit to continuously enhancing processes and procedures for managing IT requests.


Qualifications:

  • Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
  • Must be available to work full days on-site during standard business hours.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in IT project roles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong technical knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a team.
  • Background in planning and schedule management.
  • Leadership experience within a team setting.
  • Strong organizational management capabilities.
  • Experience in multitasking.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels.
  • Team management skills.
  • Process-oriented with a keen attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
  • Military and/or government experience is a plus.
  • ITIL certification is advantageous.
  • ServiceNow Certifications are beneficial.
