About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Service Center Manager to join our team at Valvoline Instant Oil Change. As a key member of our service center team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team of service center employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of service center employees to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals.
  • Assist the Service Center Manager in the daily operation and oversight of the service center, including inventory management, labor management, and financial performance.
  • Deliver a positive first impression to each guest with a warm and friendly greeting, and build trust and win repeat, loyal customers.
  • Mentor, lead, and train the team to optimize their development and improve service center performance.
  • Help maintain a clean, well-organized service center and facilitate a safe and secure working environment.
  • Become familiar with Environmental, Health & Safety compliance and other policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Six months of supervisory experience required, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Knowledge of cash handling, facility, and safety control policies and practices.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Be able to stand for extended periods of time and climb stairs.
  • Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
  • Have full mobility and can twist, stoop, and bend.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking.
