Position Overview

The Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist plays a vital role in providing exceptional respiratory care services in various healthcare settings. This position requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care while adapting to different environments.

Certification Requirements
  • AHA Certification: Only AHA Instructor, Provider, and RQI certifications are acceptable.
  • Verification: Ensure that all required certifications are verified within 30 days of starting.
  • Licensing: An OH State or Compact RN license is mandatory.
  • NBRC Certification: Required for Registered Respiratory Therapists.
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide two supervisory references; note that charge nurses count as one reference.
  • Preferred experience of approximately two years in a similar role.
  • Floating to different units may be necessary based on staffing needs.
  • Possession of an OH State license is essential for RRTs.
Additional Information
  • I-9 Documentation: Required for direct placements.
  • Identification: A current government-issued photo ID must be submitted within 24-48 hours of contract signing. A temporary driver's license is acceptable to start, but a permanent one must be on file once available.
  • Name Consistency: The traveler's legal name must match their RN or allied license and certifications; nicknames are not permitted.
  • Name Change Documentation: If applicable, proof of any name changes must be provided.
  • Legal Name Requirements: The legal name must be accurately reflected in the relevant systems.
  • Internal Requirements: Additional requirements may apply as necessary.
